- ECAD LIST
- 60 or so ECAD packages with URLs and brief notes, with an emphasis on amateur/hobby use. They're obviously a very mixed bag in terms of capabilities, full version price and popularity. Most of them include schematic drawing. Many include PCB design (a few with auto-routing). A few incorporate simulation. I'm happy to consider amending this if others want to send me details of other packages in similar format. I don't make any claims to put much effort into maintaining this page, so please check suppliers' websites to be sure of the latest details. Any prices in particular are likely to be out of date. BTW, I've tried to show these as, for example, 155USD or 100UKP for dollars and pounds respectively.

- This is a very simple in-circuit-serial-programming (ICSP) solution for PICs capable of so called low-voltage-programming (LVP). All you need are some resistors and a 9pin (or 25pin) SUB-D connector. Because of that few parts, you can build them into the sub-d housing or you might think about integrating them into your final device where your PIC will have to go to work. Doing so, you can easily perform software updates when needed.

- C++ Notes: Table of Contents
- Some of these supplemental notes are good, others only rough drafts or half-completed. Because they are designed only to provide additional examples, summaries, or explanations where the textbook is weak, they do not cover many obviously important topics. You can download a zipped version: notes-cpp-2004-12-19.zip [less than 400 KB]. -- Fred
- Object-oriented programming - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- The idea behind object-oriented programming is that a computer program may be seen as composed of a collection of individual units, or objects, that act on each other, as opposed to a traditional view in which a program may be seen as a collection of functions or procedures, or simply as a list of instructions to the computer. Each object is capable of receiving messages, processing data, and sending messages to other objects.

- Asynchronous JavaScript And XML, or its acronym Ajax, is a Web development technique for creating interactive web applications. The intent is to shift a great deal of computation to the Web surfer's computer, so the entire Web page does not have to reload when a change is made due to user interaction. This is meant to increase the Web page's interactivity, speed, and usability.
